This module introduces the educational standards for children aged 3 to 5 and explores effective teaching methods that support their holistic development. Teachers will learn how to apply age-appropriate strategies in early mathematics and social studies, helping children build foundational skills through play, exploration, and real-life experiences. The course emphasizes practical classroom approaches that nurture curiosity, reasoning, and social understanding in young learners.

Community Preschool Training Module 4 featured preschool teachers practicing safety awareness sessions on signs such as landmine danger, prohibition, vicious dog, restrooms, hospital, and traffic.

CCAFO staff from the Motherland Cambodia Education Center visited Peang Lvea village to announce the 2025–2026 English Language Program, encouraging families to enroll their children for the new school year.

On September 28, 2025, CCAFO Representatives and Guest Speakers, Mr. Rithy Chandara and Mrs. Sibyl, addressed the Yan Chai Hospital Law Chan Chor Si College Dream Compassioneers Service Club in Hong Kong, highlighting CCAFO’s English Language Project and the importance of community support for children’s education in Cambodia.

On September 18, 2025, Mr. Rithy Chandara represented CCAFO at the Rotary Club of Hong Kong Island East to introduce the English Language Project and fundraising for student transportation. CCAFO thanks the Rotary Club for their warm welcome and support in advancing education for Cambodian children.

Support from Think Small Charity We are deeply grateful to the youth group from Think Small Charity for visiting one of the community preschool projects we first created in early 2013. The educational materials they shared, made possible through the generosity of those who support Think Small Charity, have brought joy and hope to the children, teachers, and families. This kind of support highlights how young people can play an important role in shaping brighter futures. By standing with our community preschool project, they are helping children learn, grow, and prepare for primary school. Together, we believe education is the foundation for a better life. Thank you to the Think Small Charity youth group for inspiring us all by showing how one generation can lift the next.

On September 1, 2025, CCAFO, in collaboration with the Office of Education, Youth and Sport of Kampong Laeng District and the Kampong Chhnang Provincial Education, Youth and Sport Department, launched a 35-day Community Preschool Teachers Training. The program brings together 21 participants, including returning teachers eager to enhance their skills in classroom administration and the five core preschool subjects: Language, Mathematics, Social Studies, Science, and Gross Motor Development. This initiative is made possible through the generous support of Grapes for Humanity Canada and iHerb, who are helping strengthen the foundation of early childhood education in Cambodia.

CCAFO welcomed a volunteer team from Dream Compassioneers, Hong Kong, to Kampong Speu Province, where they conducted engaging teaching activities with preschool and English language students. Their visit, coordinated by Mr. Rithy Chandara, brought meaningful learning experiences and strengthened international collaboration in education.

Community preschools are vital for children aged 3 to 5, as they build the foundation for lifelong learning, health, and development by fostering essential language, social, and thinking skills, and we are pleased to share that Grapes for Humanity-Canada is supporting CCAFO’s 'Capacity Building for Community Preschool Education' project in Kampong Laeng District, Kampong Chhnang Province, providing generous funding for training 17 community preschool teachers, 18 local commune leaders (9 commune chiefs and 9 clerks), and 2 district officials to improve early childhood education, for which we sincerely thank them for their strong commitment to education and community development.
