Building Foundations: The Vital Role of Community Preschools
Community preschool is vital for children aged 3 to 5, as it builds the foundation for their lifelong learning, health, and development. During these early years, children develop essential skills in language, social interaction, and thinking that shape their success in school and beyond.
We are pleased to share that Grapes for Humanity-Canada is supporting CCAFO’s “Capacity Building for Community Preschool Education” project in Kampong Laeng District, Kampong Chhnang Province. With their generous funding, the project is providing training for 17 community preschool teachers, 18 local commune leaders (9 commune chiefs and 9 clerks), and 2 district officials to improve the quality of early childhood education. We sincerely thank Grapes for Humanity Canada for their strong commitment to education and community development. Their support is helping build a stronger foundation for young children and for the local leaders who guide and support them.
