Thnouh School Project

Preface: This project was established by Project Little Dream in Hong Kong. In Cambodia, it was registered as an NGO, led by Mr. Sum Bunseng. April 1, 2019, the project was handed over to CCAFO for managing the project. Today, the school contain of preschool class and library while in the past years there were Khmer and English classes.

Advance and Lower-Level Preschool Class

This class is opened for children who are 3 to under 6-Year-Old and the teacher is Duk Chanthy. Chanthy’s salary is supported by Commune Council and Faye Dorcas Yung and Long Tat Lam for year 2023 . Teaching Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Library Project

The library is an annex to the Thnouh School and it provides students and the community with a wide range of storybooks for their reading and studying. The library also has a place for students and the community to read books, but they can borrow them for reading at home. The library is also open to preschool students who enjoy listening to storytelling by librarian. in 2022 and 2023, the project has been supported by Faye Dorcas Yung (2022) and together with Long Tat Lam for year in 2023.

As students need to have some reading books while they are attending their general studying at public schools, they need to borrow the reading books from the library. The number indicates how many booked were borrowed during the period from January 1 to May 31, 2024.

Advance Level Preschool Class (Close)

This class was opened for children who are 5 to under 6-Year-Old. The class is run by Teacher So Saren. Salary of teacher is supported by C.A.D.E Project (USA) and remaining fund (Project Little Dream). This class was closed in early December 2022. All students who are under 6-Year-Old are now attending the Lower-Level Preschool Class.
