Building Foundations: The Vital Role of Community Preschools

Community preschools are vital for children aged 3 to 5, as they build the foundation for lifelong learning, health, and development by fostering essential language, social, and thinking skills, and we are pleased to share that Grapes for Humanity-Canada is supporting CCAFO’s 'Capacity Building for Community Preschool Education' project in Kampong Laeng District, Kampong Chhnang Province, providing generous funding for training 17 community preschool teachers, 18 local commune leaders (9 commune chiefs and 9 clerks), and 2 district officials to improve early childhood education, for which we sincerely thank them for their strong commitment to education and community development.

Hong Kong Baptist University-A New Partnership in Action-Day 3

On May 29, 2025, we marked the third day of a meaningful collaboration between students and faculty from Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), local Cambodian volunteers, and the Motherland Cambodia Education Center (MLC). The day focused on the Application of Solar Energy in Real Life, with students learning how solar panels can power items like toy cars and lamps. They also explored the basic parts of an electric circuit. This hands-on session connected theory to daily life and sparked awareness of renewable energy as a practical solution for a more sustainable future.
