Student's Home Visit
The Student Home Visit represents a fundamental aspect of the English Language Project initiated by the Cambodian Children’s Advocacy Foundation Organization and executed by the Motherland Cambodia Education Center (MLC).

Phal Sreyneang, tasked with overseeing Library, Basic Oral Health Care, Girls Basic Health Care Education, and Student Home Visits, dedicated her time to visit a young girl (Khon Leakhena-left in the photo) enrolled in the English Language program at her residence. The purpose of the visit was to understand the reasons behind her discontinuation of the English course.

Upon investigation, it was revealed that the primary cause for the Leakhena's withdrawal from the course was her commitment to caring for her sibling and grandmother. Unfortunately, her grandmother had been involved in a traffic accident, rendering her unable to perform household tasks and daily activities. As a responsible caregiver, Leakhena had to prioritize these familial duties, leading to her decision to temporarily cease her studies for a few months.

Before dropping out of the class, Leakhena (Photo: First left) attended English language classes at MLC throughout the school years 2020-2021, 2021-2022, and 2022-2023. She successfully completed the English for Children Textbook Level 3, which is the final level in the English for Children program.
